Day to Day
The Core Screening team’s mission is to deliver screening tools that facilitate high quality connections between job seekers and employers. We aim to improve the screening experience by pioneering new screening methods.
On a typical day you will have the opportunity to
Collaborate with the product and UX teams to design new features.
Lead the delivery of an initiative
Improve our existing products leveraging data from AB testing
Guide other engineering teams as they integrate with our systems
Responsibilities
Collaborate with product managers, UX team and other engineers to deliver full stack solutions
Design, and build systems/technologies to create and improve screening tools
Architect new solutions and validate new ideas by either building on top of existing solutions or by prototyping new products
Participate in code and design reviews in the team to maintain high-quality standards
Skills/Competencies
Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Security, Information Systems, or related field, OR comparable level of professional experience
3+ years of software engineering experience
Experience programming in Java, Kotlin, React or a similar programming language
Experience with APIs, web technologies
Experience working on large-scale, high-performance systems
Communication and collaboration skills
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Security, Information Systems, or related field, OR comparable level of professional experience
Salary Range Transparency
US Remote 109,000 – 159,000 USD per year

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees.
